Hits Collections
This week's Newsletter is dedicated to nothing but HITS COLLECTIONS. Over the last decade, Mymusicfix has made one of our goals to collect as many artists hit albums that had a short window of availability.

Many of these collections are decades old and in their original seals. Most of these HITS COLLECTIONS were produced at the height of vinyl technology by some of the greatest mastering engineers ever in the record industry such as Steve Hoffman, Bill Inglot, Bernie Grundman (to name a few).

Some labels like DCC, Time Life, Simply Vinyl, Rhino Records, Columbia and Warner had Special Products Divisions which did outstanding vinyl mastering jobs on some of the best greatest hits editions ever pressed.

Almost all of these titles are in the category of what Mymusicfix calls "one and done" meaning there are 5 or less copies left in Factory Sealed condition forever.

These titles include individual artists hit albums or collections of various artists in a theme collection. The theme collections usually capture a year of top hits. For example; The Cruisin' Series, Spirit of the '60s, Billboard Hits - these are all great pieces of vinyl which capture a year's top hits sung by the original artist. Most of these artists are in the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame and many of the tracks are rated the Top Songs of All-Time.

You will never see this selection of compilations and artists hits collections ever again. Many of these titles are some of the most valuable within the Collector's Vinyl Market. Most are "one and done" - and are in the Here Today, Gone Tomorrow category.
