"Yes, Fragile - 180 Gram LP"

YES - FRAGILE - Analogue Productions 180 Gram Heavy Virgin Vinyl LP re-mastered from the Original Master Tapes by Steve Hoffman and Kevin Gray at AcousTech Mastering. Michael Fremer, Senior Contributing Editor, STEREOPHILE, Music Editor, LISTENER, says "I've just listened to the YES pressings mastered by Kevin Gray and Steven Hoffman and let me tell you: when the bass kicked in, I thought I was playing a 45 at 33 1/3 it was so deep and thick but it was 33 1/3 and when the guitars kicked in, it was WOWIE!!!!! This is as close to listening to a Master Tape as I've heard from vinyl - not hyperbole. Gray built the cutting system from scratch, including transformerless, discrete, Class-A amplification from tape head to cutter head. It features a Neumann VMS 66 lathe with the finest add-on computer that allows Gray to adjust groove spacing and to let the maximum amount of density onto each disc. The system also includes a Technics SP-02 turntable motor that features high torque with low rumble. Propelled by the timeless hit "Roundabout," Yes' fourth album, Fragile, became an instant classic and is undoubtedly one of prog-rock's finest moments. It was the first Yes record to feature Rick Wakeman on keyboards and the first to display the inimitable artwork of Roger Dean. And it's now been remastered by the incomparable team of Kevin Gray and Steve Hoffman at AcousTech Mastering. Typical of Kevin and Steve's work, this version of Fragile is warmer, richer and airier than the 1971 original. Rediscover a classic. By far the most successful and enduring progressive rock group ever, Yes have been navigating the sonic stratosphere for more than three decades. Weathering myriad personnel changes and as many musical trends, their popularity has endured like granite. As Q Magazine put it, Yes are "the long haired dads of Radiohead." -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Track Listings 1. Roundabout 2. Cans And Brahms 3. "Young Holt Trio, Oh Girl - 180 Gram"

180 Gram Limited Edition Analog Virgin Vinyl. OH GIRL - 180 Gram Vinyl with Gatefold Cover "You know that I love you with the wind & rain in your hair and the moon shining down through the trees," Eldee Young says on the opening track of this re-release of Young Holt Trio's, later called Young Holt Unlimited, debut 1967 release. When Eldee Young and Red Holt split from Ramsey Lewis, they wanted to capitalize on the association, thus pianist Don Walker's Lewis, whose piano figures so heavily in their sound was not titled in the band name. In the sixties, they outsold Miles Davis, in the seventies, they laid down the grooves that would become the foundation of rap when sampling came in. Easily the forerunner of the smooth jazz sound to come, they were once again ahead of their time with some wonderful jazz/pop. If you dug "Soulful Strut" and "Wack Wack", be sure to pick up on this set. The sound is in a different direction, but the vibe is right on. Tracks include: 1. Yes We Can Can - Oh Girl - 3. Can't Get Enough of You - 4. Hi-Fly - 5. Where Is the Love? - 6. Rubber Lips - 7. Such a Beautiful Feeling - 8. Food Stamps - 9. I'm Still Here - 10. Bumpin' on Young Street -

Count Basie Swings, Tony Bennett Sings"

COUNT BASIE & TONY BENNETT - BASIE SWINGS TONY SINGS This Classic Records Limited 1st Edition Stereo Audiophile LP (which is a 1st generation 180 gram out of print pressing and gone from the collectors market forever. These 180 gram pressing are the only way to verify 1st edition pressings from Classic Records) was mastered from the Original Session Tapes to 180 Gram Heavy Virgin Vinyl and this 1st generation pressing is out of print forever.. Originally released in 1959 on Roulette, this meeting finds Count Basie and his band in a peak period: a fantastic rhythm section, tight and powerful brass, silky reeds and skillful arrangers like Neal Hefti doing his charts. And you can hear the glee in his piano playing, to boot. Tony Bennett's vocals seem propelled along with such support and swings right into line on such tunes as Jeepers Creepers, Anything Goes and I'll Guess I'll Have To Change My Plans. Ballads and up tempo tunes alike are perfect blends for these two masters, who make them all sound fresh. Other songs include Life is A Song, With Plenty of Money and You, Are You Havin' Any Fun, Strike Up The Band, Chicago, I've Grown Accustomed To Her Face, Poor Little Rich Girl, Growing Pains and After Supper. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Track Listings 1. The DCC Gold CD released at the same time as the this LP is now getting over a $349+ in the collectors out of print market. Every true audiophile Knows That Analog Vinyl is always worth more then a compact disc. The Band that Fogerty Built was truly an American phenomenon during their relatively short recording career. Each of their albums, beginning with 1969's Bayou Country, was a Top 40 hit-making machine. Willy & the Poor Boys produced two smashes--"Down on the Corner" (which is about the fictional black street group that gave the album its title) and "Fortunate Son," Fogerty's most ferocious political rant. Each LP was a concept collection of sorts, and this one was a tribute to the South, featuring two traditional standards popularized by Leadbelly as well as two instrumentals that made you swear CCR were from New Orleans rather than Oakland, California. Tracks include: 1. Down on the Corner 2. It Came Out of the 3. Cotton Fields 4. Poorboy Shuffle 5. Feelin' Blue 6. Fortunate Son 7. Don't Look Now 8. Midnight Special 9. Side O' the Road 10. Effigy DCC 180+ Gram LIMITED EDITION. This Limited Edition FACTORY SEALED LP is an audiophile collector's item that simply gives the feeling of being directly in the studio with the artist. This DCC recording was re-mastered from the Original Master Tapes on DCC's vintage Vacuum-Tube Playback System. The plating of the lacquers is done the same day as cutting using a slow low temperature bath to minimize groove echo and loss of frequency information. The result is the best sounding series of LPs in history. This collectible LP has all Liner Notes, Photos, and Artwork from the Original LP faithfully recreated. A SONIC WORK OF ART. These Out of Print gems are the Finest/Rarest of the audiophile LP market. The future of these collectibles is so exciting because each piece is a sonic work of art that will never be reproduced using this expensive Vacuum-Tube Mastering System. You will be one of the lucky collectors in the world owning this audiophile classic.

SIMON & GARFUNKEL "GRADUATE" AUDIOPHILE 180 GRAM 1st Generation/Edition audiophile pressing It's a Sonic Gem. THE GRADUATE - THE SOUNDTRACK - The soundtrack to this Oscar and Golden Globe winning film was put together from already existent, successful pop numbers. No words are really necessary about the music, since numbers such as "Sound of Silence," "Mrs. Robinson" and "Scarborough Fair" have entered into the annals of musical culture ever since they were used in the film. It is astounding to note how seamlessly the various works fit snugly into the film's context, as though they had been specially written for the scenes. It catapulted Simon & Garfunkel right to the top of the list of ballad singers, and it also includes instrumental insertion numbers by Dave Grusin, who virtually fell into oblivion after all the hype about this provocative movie. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Track Listings The Sound Of Silence - Simon And Garfunkel The Singleman Party Foxtrot - David Grusin Mrs. Robinson - Simon And Garfunkel Sunporch Cha-Cha-Cha - David Grusin Scarborough Fair / Canticle (Inerlude) - Simon And Garfunkel On The Strip - David Grusin April Come She Will - Simon And Garfunkel The Folks - David Grusin Scarborough Fair / Canticle - Simon And Garfunkel A Great Effect - David Grusin The Big Bright Green Pleasure Machine - Simon And Garfunkel Whew - David Grusin Mrs. Robinson - Simon And Garfunkel The Sound Of Silence - Simon And Garfunkel

"It was do or die for Toto on the group's fourth album, and they rose to the challenge. Largely dispensing with anonymous studio rock that had characterized their first three releases, the band worked harder on its melodies, made sure its simple lyrics treated romantic subjects, augmented Bobby Kimball's vocals by having other group members sing, brought in ringers like Timothy B. Schmit, and slowed down the tempo to what came to be known as 'power ballad' pace. Most of all, they wrote some hit songs." 1. Rosanna 2. Make Believe 3. I Won't Hold You Back 4. Good For You 5. The ultimate record - the way music was meant to be heard. One of the finer moments of British blues, the Groundhogs, lead by British guitar hero Tony McPhee, worshipped in the church of American blues and R&B. Devotees of John Lee Hooker, they proved their chops in the mid '60s when Hooker selected them to back him on his British tours. However, while the Groundhogs played a derivative sound, they were a solid band in their own right, with an especially electrifying live presence, as proven in their Hoggin' The Stage. Originally released in 1984, this album is a collection of live recordings from 1971, during a Stones tour, and a gig in Stockholm in 1976 shortly before they disbanded. "Johnny Cash, At San Quentin - 180 Gram"

JOHNNY CASH - SAN QUENTIN - 180 GRAM AUDIOPHILE PRESSING - FACTORY SEALED 180 Gram LP - . Johnny Cash was a country legend even during his lifetime, although, or perhaps because, he was very different from the numerous country singers with checkered shirts. When performing he chose to wear black as a symbol of solidarity with the oppressed and those who had no rights. His chosen outlaw image was just as convincing as the train-like boom-tiddy-boom sound of his rhythm group who lent their typical sound to many of his 500 songs. At the very zenith of his career, Cash (who himself had committed a few minor offenses) had the idea of singing and playing for the bad guys behind the prison walls for nothing. Initially his suggestion to market the live recording was rejected, but finally his record company decided to release the album At Folsom Prison. Fired by the success of his jailhouse recording, Columbia Records released At San Quentin shortly afterwards. The recording, in which Cash and his combo were frequently applauded more or less at the end of each verse, exceeded all expectations. Today it is still considered by Cash fans to be the best live recording by the "man in black. 1. Wanted Man 2. Wreck Of The Old 97 3. I Walk The Line 4. Darling Companion 5. Starkville City Jail 6. To hear Johnny Cash's swaggering Sun Records-era material is to marvel at one of the primal source-streams of what was fast becoming the headwaters of rock 'n' roll. Cash's craggy, lunch bucket vocals on gleaming original versions of songs like "Cry, Cry, Cry," "Get Rhythm," "Big River" and "I Walk The Line," backed by the signature guitar style of Luther Perkins and Marshall Grant's steady bass, are really just the tip of the iceberg corralled on this 180-gram double LP. "Folsom Prison Blues," "Hey Porter" and "So Doggone Lonesome" - and plenty more just as exciting - are rock-solid cornerstones of the Johnny Cash legend, an edifice that will stand as long as the pharoh's pyramids. "Mitch Ryder & The Detroit Memphis Experiment - 180 Gram"

MITCH RYDER & THE DETROIT MEMPHIS EXPERIMENT - 180 GRAM OUT OF PRINT PRESSING Out of Print FACTORY SEALED LP - Detroit is not only a "rock city". Michigan born William Devise Jr. (or Mitch Ryder, if you prefer) is one of the clearest examples of a city born and raised with R'n'B, Soul and any other possible forms of African American music you can think of. Ryder and his Detroit Wheels began hitting the charts pretty consistently between 1965 and 1967, when the Wheels' adventure came to an end. This 1969 album could be fully considered a Booker T and MGs record featuring Mitch Ryder, given Steve Cropper's production and the participation of the whole gang to the project. Selections: 1. Liberty 2. Eenie Meenie Minie Moe 3. Boredom 4. Push Aroun' 5. Sugar Bee 6. I Get Hot 7. I Believe 8. Direct Me 9. Long Long Time 10. Raise Your Hand 11. Wear And Tear On My Heart 12. Meat

Neil Diamond, Home Before Dark - 180 Gram Double LP" - Product Image

Neil Diamond, Home Before Dark - 180 Gram Double LP"

TITLE IS NOW OUT OF PRINT - DON'T MISS OUT. FACTORY SEALED ORIGINAL RELEASE DOUBLE 180 Gram LP SET - High definition analog vinyl pressing for superior fidelity. The nicest thing you can do for your stylus and ears. The ultimate record - the way music was meant to be heard. NEIL DIAMOND TITLES - They're each very limited in their pressings and disappear with extraordinary quickness from the vinyl market. This causes prices to skyrocket because once they are gone, they are gone forever! Don't second-guess yourself with this chance to upgrade your collection because before you know it, the opportunity will have passed forever. Remarkably Home Before Dark is the first US chart topping album of Neil Diamond's forty year career. It appears to repeat the formula behind 2006's acclaimed 12 Songs--relatively understated arrangements and a subtle Rick Rubin production. But Diamond, though sixty-seven years old and the oldest recipient of a Number One so far, is no Johnny Cash, turning his unique voice to some well chosen contemporary material. Instead Home Before Dark is a collection of new Diamond songs, and though they might not match the boomers in his back catalogue they are hardly stripped back. These are songs designed to fill large venues alongside the showstoppers in Diamond's still energetic live show. "Pretty Amazing Grace" is in the great tradition of Diamond songs that defy their corniness with sheer catchiness, as is "One More Bite of the Apple" while "Don't Go There" features bracing backing vocals and a delightfully dated wobbly guitar hook. The duet with Natalie Maines, "Another Day (That Time Forgot)", would fit comfortably on American country radio while "The Power of Two" sounds like another hit in waiting. In fact this is more a conventional Diamond collection than a Rick Rubin production, dominated by lightly understated country rock arrangements played by a crack team including Smokey Hormel, Heartbreakers Benmont Tench and Mike Campbell and the usually experimental Matt Sweeney. This is a charming and consistently solid set, though Home Before Dark does lack the unexpected intensity that made 12 Songs stand out so - Home Before Dark is the long awaited new album from legendary artist Neil Diamond. Home Before Dark was produced by legendary producer Rick Rubin who also produced Neil's critically acclaimed 12 Songs. There are two types of people in the world: those who like Neil Diamond and those who don't." - quote from the movie "What About Bob?" If you're in the latter category, please read no further. If you're still with me, this is a "pretty amazing" album from the evergreen Mr. Diamond, taking us back to his music of the seventies, namely the "Song Sung Blue" and "Sweet Caroline" period. There's also no complaining about the length of the album, as there are five songs that are six minutes and above, and only one track below four minutes. American Idol viewers would have been treated to a live performance of the single "Pretty Amazing Grace", and if you liked that one, you're really going to enjoy this album. Other recommended tracks are: If I Don't See You Again - the first song on the album, and the longest at 7 minutes 14 seconds. Another Day (That Time Forgot) - with Dixie Chick Natalie Maines Forgotten - lots of guitars Act Like a Man - a little Moon River, a little Country, pure Diamond Whose Hands Are These - a folksy, inspiring treasure with heavy guitar and piano backing No Words - you'll be hooked from the intro (personal favorite) This is vintage Diamond, and I predict a very good year indeed. Recommended - just recommended - buy it!! 1. If I Don't See You Again 2. Pretty Amazing Grace 3. Don't Go There 4. Another Day (That Time Forgot) 5. One More Bite of the Apple 6. Forgotten 7. Act Like a Man 8. Whose Hands Are These 9. No Words 10. The Power of Two 11. Slow It Down 12. Home Before Dark
