"The Who, Sell Out - 200 Gram Stereo"
THE WHO Sell Out Limited Edition Sealed 200 Gram STEREO LP WITH POSTER - NOW OUT OF PRINT IN THIS 200 GRAM PRESSING
Classic Records has proven to be an Audiophile Company second to none in the new millennium. But Classic Records, unlike other top Audiophile Companies, does not place Limited Edition numbers on their LP jackets.
Classic Records has just announced that their vinyl weight of 200 gram is now changing to 180 gram.
What this change did for Collectors of the finest vinyl pressings was establish a First Edition element to Classic Records Audiophile pressings. All Classic Records titles that were only produced in 200 Gram pressings are now Out of Print and Very Limited Edition Collector's First Edition Pressings.
These First Editions have become some of the rarest pressings in the Audiophile Collector's Market. Just try to find them at any Audiophile Retailer after the next few months. You might still find some limited inventory of M-F-S-L or DCC pressings and these 200 gram Classic Records titles will now become that rare in the collectors market. They are simply gone from the market and Mymusicfix has seen some these First Editions sell for over $300.
When you take that into consideration, what will this First Edition Audiophile Pressing be worth in the years ahead? It could be one of the most collectible pressings ever in this 200 Gram First Editions.
How rare and valuable are each one of these 200 gram sets now still Factory Sealed? Priceless!

This Heavy Vinyl LP has been critically acclaimed as the finest and quietest ever produced. It is a new listening experience that will virtually make you feel as if you were in the studio with the band. The nicest thing you can do for your stylus and ears. So, sit back, relax, enjoy the music, and remember the sound
Townshend originally planned this as a concept album of sorts that would simultaneously mock and pay tribute to pirate radio stations, complete with fake jingles and commercials linking the tracks. For reasons that remain somewhat ill-defined, the concept wasn't quite driven to completion, breaking down around the middle of side two (on the original vinyl configuration). Nonetheless, on strictly musical merits, it's a terrific set of songs that ultimately stands as one of the group's greatest achievements." – All Music Guide

"Velvet Underground and Nico - OBI 200 Gram Japan Pressed LP"
Velvet Underground - “Velvet Underground And Nico” with Gatefold Cover JAPAN SEALED 200 GRAM LIMITED EDITION OUT OF PRINT OBI JAPAN PRESSING WITH THE ORIGINAL BANANA PEEL COVER . THIS TITLE WENT IMMEDIATELY OUT OF PRINT.
Rare Collectors Limited Edition Out of Print LP.
When the Velvets recorded this debut, they were best known as the protégés of Andy Warhol (who designed the sleeve), and as a grating, combustive live band. Fueled by drummer Moe Tucker's no-nonsense wham and John Cale's howling viola, some of the straight-up rock & roll and arty noise extravaganzas here bear that out. But before Lou Reed was singing about sadomasochism and drug deals and writing lyrics inspired by his favorite poets, he was a pop songwriter, and this album has some of his prettiest tunes, mostly sung by Nico, the German dark angel who left the band after this disc. Even the sordid rockers are underscored by graceful pop tricks, like the two-chord flutter at the center of the classic "Heroin."
Produced by Andy Warhol in 1967, this is the Velvet’s Underground first recording and remains one of the most important in influential Albums of all time. This recording has recently been rated the 19th Best Album of All-Time. If you are a collector and want a Top 20 in Rock n Roll’s History, this recording is an absolute must!

T. Rex, Unicorn - 200 Gram OBI Japan Master"
UNICORN - 200 GRAM JAPAN OBI MASTER The third Tyrannosaurus Rex album, and their debut U.S. release, Unicorn was also the first to steadfastly state the game plan with Marc Bolan had been patiently formulating for two years – the overnight transformation from underground icon to above ground superstar. Not only does it catch him experimenting with an electric guitar for the first time on record, it also sees Steve Peregrin Took exchange his bongos for a full drum kit, minor deviations to be sure, but significant ones regardless." – All Music Guide

The Classic Reissue was cut from the original 1/2" 30 ips analog master tapes on the Classic all tube stereo cutting system at Bernie Grundman Mastering by "The Wizard" Bernie Grundman himself.
Six years after earning his first blockbuster, Peter Gabriel finally delivered US, his sequel to SO. Clearly, that great span of time indicates that Gabriel was obsessive in crafting the album, and US bears the sound of endless hours in the studio. It's not just that the production is pristine, clean, and immaculate, it's that the music is, with only a handful of exceptions (namely, the "Sledgehammer" rewrite "Steam" and the fellatio ode "Kiss That Frog"), remarkably subtle and shaded. It's also not a coincidence that Us is, as Gabriel says in his liner notes, "about relationships," since the exquisitely textured music lets him expose his soul, albeit in a typically obtuse way.
Gabriel is as adventurous as ever, yet he is relentlessly sober about his experiments, burying exotic sounds and percussion underneath crawling tempos measured atmospherics this is tastefully two-toned music, assembled by a consummate craftsman who became too immersed in detail to make anything but an insular, introspective work. Some gems are easier to unearth than others "Digging in the Dirt" has an insistent pulse, "Blood of Eden" and "Come Talk to Me" are quite beautiful, "Secret World" is quietly anthemic yet, given enough time, the record's understated approach and reflection becomes its most attractive element. Transferred for the first time from the 30 ips analog master for 2 LP vinyl and packaged in a deluxe gatefold jacket makes for a definitive version.

SO - Peter Gabriel introduced his fifth studio album So with “Sledgehammer,” an Otis Redding-inspired soul-pop raver that was easily his catchiest, happiest single to date. Needless to say, it was also his most accessible, and, in that sense it was a good introduction to So, the catchiest, happiest record he ever cut. “Sledgehammer” propelled the record toward blockbuster status, and Gabriel had enough songs with single potential to keep it there. There was “Big Time,” another colorful dance number; “Don’t Give Up,” a moving duet with Kate Bush; “Red Rain,” a stately anthem popular on album rock radio; and “In Your Eyes,” Gabriel’s greatest love song which achieved genuine classic status after being featured in Cameron Crowe’s classic, Say Anything. This release features the additional tune “We Do What We’re Told (Milgrames 37)” that was originally not on the Geffen vinyl issue in 1986.

"Frank Zappa, Hot Rats - 200 Gram"
FRANK ZAPPA – HOT RATS - THIS IS THE 200 GRAM CLASSIC RECORDS RELEASE SEALED OUT OF PRINT AUDIOPHILE MASTERPIECE. THIS TITLE IS NOW TREMENDOUSLY RARE COLLECTORS PIECE.
OUR LAST COPY FOREVER. 200 Grams – Very Limited Edition
After releasing a "mother lode of Mothers" (of Invention) classics, by 1969 leader Frank Zappa was ready to break through other musical barriers that were still holding popular music in a conservative headlock. Being one if not the first album to be recorded using 16 tracks (twice the number being used at the time on both sides of the Atlantic), Hot Rats became a leading edge in both modern recording technology and the evolution of jazz/rock-fusion. Mostly instrumental, it features six original compositions; three loose jam pieces, the remainder being tight ensemble arrangements. Some of the finest players around come together in varying combinations, all-the-while showcasing FZ's guitar virtuosity. Among others, Lowell George of Little Feat fame lends guitar, jazz violinists extraordinaire Don "Sugarcane" Harris and Jean-Luc Ponty plus fellow Mother Ian Underwood's keyboard and woodwind work, complete the leader's advanced vision. Mastered and cut directly from the original analog master tape by Bernie Grundman under the supervision of Gail Zappa.

TUBULAR BELLS - A quintessential "studio production" in pop music lore, Mike Oldfield conceived an eclectic mix of both standard and odd instruments, along with classical and rock elements, to achieve a steadily building, layered texture, totally unheard of at the time. After being shopped and rejected at other labels, Richard Branson chose it as the first release for his Virgin Records in 1972. Originally tagged with the working title Opus 1, Oldfield, who had been playing and recording professionally since his teens, oversaw the entire production and played most of the parts himself, eventually layering over 30 different instruments and sounds. Listeners had fun trying to identify each and remember the order in which they appeared. The original LP eventually sold over 16 million copies and topped the UK charts for weeks. The eerie opening section was famously featured in the soundtrack to the motion picture The Exorcist, winning the Grammy in 1974 for Best Instrumental Composition.
Chris Bellman does the mastering honors on this reissue, using the original master tapes and Classic's all-tube cutting system.
