"Miles Davis, Young Man With A Horn (10" MONO LP) - 180 Gram"

Classic Original Master 1st Generation 180 Gram Pressing, "Out of Print, MILES DAVIS VOL. 1 YOUNG MAN WITH A HORN 10" Mono LP - Sealed OUT OF PRINT - Gone Forever and our last copy of this 1st edition 180 gram pressing. This is Miles Davis first Blue Note recording released in 1952 as a 10" LP with the title apparently borrowed from a 1950 movie of the same name starring Kirk Douglas. The line up on the six song LP features Jay Jay Johnson, Jackie McLean, Gil Coggins, Oscar Pettiford and Kenny Clarke backing up the YOUNG MAN WITH A HORN. This record swings and the playing is obviously from a more romantic Miles trying to find his way. The authentic "deep groove" non-groove guard pressing is an authentic top on jacket that will fool even the best collectors. Cut on the newly restored Classic Mono Cutting System at Bernie Grundman mastering by Mr. Be Bop himself! Tracks include: Dear Old Stockholm - Chance It - Yesterdays - Donna - Would'n You - How Deep Is the Ocean.
